The role of the Rebar Fabricator is to drive positive results in the Production Department to meet all NRF Division goals and continuously build a World‑Class Rebar Fabrication facility to take care of Nucor’s Customers.

• Safe and effective operation of all fabrication and material handling equipment, including equipment to cut, bend, thread, and maneuver concrete reinforcing bar (overhead crane and forklift).
• Taking pride in housekeeping and the NRF‑Riverside appearance.
• Executing projects to completion.
• Aiding the Production Leads and Supervisor.
• Any other tasks assigned.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Willingness to work in extreme situations including hot, cold, and rainy weather, dusty conditions, and a fast paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Fundamental Computer Skills.

• Self‑starting, positive problem‑solver always looking for work that needs to be done and ways to improve. Energetic with initiative and enthusiasm that is motivating to others.
• Mobile equipment (forklift/overhead crane) or equivalent experience.
• Prior fabrication experience.
