Loading Technician

Position Summary

The Loading Technician is responsible for safely receiving, transporting, storing, and issuing raw materials, work‑in‑progress (WIP), and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports production by maintaining inventory accuracy, operating material handling equipment, and following all safety and quality standards.

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials.
• Transport materials between receiving, inventory, production, packaging, and shipping areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper labeling, ERP transactions, cycle counts, and audits.
• Supply production areas with materials and remove scrap and finished goods as needed.
• Inspect materials for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company safety, quality, Lean, and 6S procedures.
• Cross‑train and perform other logistics duties as assigned.

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.

• Forklift certification.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Lean, 6S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma training.

Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, moving equipment, and moderate to loud noise while wearing required PPE.
