Social Media Coordinator; Part-Time

Curl friend Collective is looking for a part-time creative, people-loving Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team! If you live and breathe socials, get energized connecting with creators, have a passion for curly hair/beauty, and have a strong eye for design in Canva, this role is for you!

This is a HYBRID role open to candidates based in Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison (WI), or the surrounding areas.

Compensation starts at $2,000/month, based on experience and scope.

• Film With our CEO: Assist in product launch photoshoots, batch content shoot days and catch behind the scenes content
• Influencer & PR Outreach: Scout, reach out, and coordinate with creators (mostly in the curly hair & beauty space). Manage PR lists, send PR packages, and manage/track collaborations.
• Assist on UGC Campaigns :
  Help Scout, Manage and Grow Paid and Gifted Influencer/UGC Campaigns
• UGC & Community Management: Track and organize influencer/UGC content
• Customer & Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to reviews, spark conversations in our Club Curl friend Facebook group, and engage authentically with our community on social platforms.
• Social Media Creation & Scheduling: Build out and schedule posts across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and Pinterest. Ensure content is optimized per platform, timely, and aligned with campaign goals and product launches. Assist with Canva-based content creation for social posts, stories and influencer assets. You should be highly skilled in Canva and comfortable editing quick to complex, clean videos in Cap Cut or similar tools.
• On-Camera Content Creation: Be comfortable jumping in front of the camera. You’ll regularly film short-form videos, demos, stories, and fun behind-the-scenes content for Tik Tok, Reels, and other platforms. Confidence, personality, and strong communication on camera are a must.
• Strategic Social Media Account Growth: Support the development of platform-specific growth strategies, helping us increase reach, engagement, and follower quality. Identify trends, brainstorm creative ideas, and bring fresh insights that elevate our social presence.
• A natural connector who loves engaging with people online.
• Creative and comfortable in Canva, Cap Cut or other comparable editing platforms.
• Organized and detail-oriented. You don’t let posts, comments, or DMs slip through the cracks.
• Hungry for growth. You’re eager to learn, experiment, and evolve with a fast-growing e-commerce brand.
• Passionate about high end beauty, curl care, or lifestyle brands.
• A proactive problem solver who loves brainstorming and finding smart, creative solutions.
