Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Responsibilities

Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES (LPN/LVN).

The LPN will provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. The LPN is directly responsible to the Nurse Manager, RN House Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse for quality patient care provided to patients on the units. The LPN/LVN will also:

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process and closely monitor patient conditions.

Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Current status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama.

One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.

LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification
