Salary Range: $167,000 - $194,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
OverviewVHS is actively seeking experienced and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join Southeast Health Medical Group in Dothan, Alabama. This hospital‑employed position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive and collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective anesthesia care for a diverse case mix, including orthopedic, obstetric, urological, neurological, gastrointestinal, cardiothoracic, catheterization lab, and general surgeries.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and anesthesia technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct pre‑anesthetic assessments, develop anesthesia care plans, and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage patient recovery and provide post‑anesthesia care, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance, clinical audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Current, valid certification as a CRNA (AANA Certification).
- State licensure in Alabama or eligible for licensure.
- Proven experience providing anesthesia in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Hospital‑employed position at a 420‑bed regional referral center, known for innovative stroke care.
- Practice at a single, convenient location with no travel requirements.
- Schedule flexibility options:
Monday‑Friday, 6/6, or 7/7 shifts. - Dedicated anesthesia technicians available to assist with room turnover, ensuring efficiency.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integration using Epic.
