About the OpportunityLumora Talent Consulting is partnering with a healthcare organization in Alabama to place an experienced Advanced Practice Provider – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – on their General Surgery team. This is a full‑time, permanent position focused on delivering advanced surgical patient care in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary clinical team.
What You'll Do- Manage surgical patients across the care continuum, from preoperative assessment through postoperative follow‑up
- Perform clinical procedures and provide first‑assist support in the operating room
- Exercise independent clinical decision‑making within established protocols and scope of practice
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to drive high‑quality patient outcomes
- Master's degree in Nursing (CRNP) or Physician Assistant Studies
- Active Alabama licensure (or eligibility) and DEA registration
- Board certification: NCCPA (PA) or appropriate NP certification
- RNFA certification (Nurse Practitioners)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated surgical experience
- Prior experience in general surgery or a surgical subspecialty
- Strong procedural and clinical assessment skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Day shift | Full‑time | Regular employment status
