Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg and ER Unit - TN Visa ONLY
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL (an hour from Birmingham)
Position Type: Full-Time
- Sign-On Bonus: $12,000
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $4,000 (with receipts)
- Legal Fees: 100% covered by the client
- Housing: 60 days of free housing upon arrival
- Compensation: $30–$36/hour (Approx. $60K–$74K annually, based on experience)

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Med/Surg and Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join our state-of-the-art facility. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by maintaining professional nursing standards and fostering positive, therapeutic relationships with patients and families. This role provides leadership, supervision, and delegation to LPNs, PCAs, Unit Secretaries, Ortho Techs, and other unlicensed team members.
Responsibilities
- Assess physical, psychological, social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and discharge needs of each patient on admission and throughout care.
- Create individualized care plans and provide education to patients and families, identifying and addressing barriers to learning.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
- Assign and delegate nursing tasks based on patient needs and team capabilities.
- Accurately document patient status, care provided, and any changes to care plans.
- Lead or participate in care planning, transition rounds, and shift handoffs.
- Support performance improvement (PI) initiatives and implement best practices.
- Maintain required competencies and uphold compliance with organizational policies.
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and respect for patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Alabama RN license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care required.
- (Alternate: 18 months RN experience + 6 months approved nursing student experience accepted.)
- Certifications (based on unit):
- Med/Surg/Acute Care: BLS (AHA)
- Critical Care: BLS & ACLS (AHA)
- Emergency Department: BLS, ACLS & PALS (AHA) – TNCC preferred
- Maternal Child/Behavioral Health: Additional certifications as applicable (NRP, ACLS, PALS)
- Other Requirements:
- Passed NCLEX
- Passed TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE
- Valid Visa Screen Certificate
- Able to start employment within 1–6 months
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Leadership and decision-making responsibilities
- Requires strong communication and delegation skills
- Involves exposure to infectious materials, chemicals, and physically demanding tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform emergency responses
- Physical presence onsite is required
