Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to psychiatric patients (children and adolescents) utilizing the established nursing process. Duties include documentation, participation in nursing teams, adherence to program guidelines, medication administration, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, intervening with disturbed patients, admissions and discharges, and employing restraint techniques when necessary.
Qualifications- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Graduate from an accredited RN School of Nursing or possess an associate degree in nursing
- Current status as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama
