Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Dothan, Alabama, 36301!

• Facility: Southeast Health
• Unit: 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry
• Shift: 19:00 – 07:00 (Night)
• Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week (block scheduling available; EOW required)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (high acuity)
• Experience
  
  Required:
  
  1–2 years (must be strong with high-acuity patients)
• Dysrhythmias experience required
• Cardiac drips: Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: Active AL or compact license (no pending; must be in good standing)
• Additional: Epic;
  Vaccine requirements (Flu & COVID) with medical/religious exemptions accepted
• Scrubs: All navy or navy bottoms/white tops; 3–5 days preferred; 7 days max per 13 weeks
• Local radius: 90 miles (no locals)
• Former permanent staff: ineligible for 10 years

• Experience: 1–2 years of travel or acute care Med/Surg/Telemetry with high-acuity patients; previous charge experience preferred
• Charting System: Community Hospital (specific system not listed)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Active Alabama RN license required at submission
• Permanent address must be included; traveler must be at least 90 miles from facility
• Previous travel experience required; highly experienced candidates may be considered case-by-case
• Do Not Call facility
• Return traveler policy: former permanent staff not eligible for travel roles for 10 years; after 2 consecutive contracts, 6-month break required
• Pre-start modules required; modules non-billable; 8+ hours not included in bill rate
