Locum | Nurse Practitioner Cardiac Surgery

Overview

• Location:
  
  Central, AL
• Schedule:
  
  Mon – Fri
• Call rotation: 1 night and weekend 3 days
• OR and floor/ICU rounding; some clinic coverage
• Case mix:
  Primarily cardiothoracic; minimal vascular
• EVH and RAH required; first assist in cardiothoracic cases
• Vascular experience: preferred but not required

• Provide clinical support as a locum NP in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery settings
• Assist in OR and participate in floor/ICU rounding
• Collaborate with surgeons and care teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Support clinic activities as needed

• Evidence-based practice in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery settings
• EVH and RAH certification/experience; able to function as first assist in cardiothoracic cases
• Vascular experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
