must have rn license in kentucky or compact state.

- must maintain current rn licensure in kentucky or compact state. Must complete required annual updates.

- perform work with increasing independence and may mentor lhn i nurses; conduct nursing assessments using ccsg service guidelines; develop and implement a plan of care based on identified health risks; provide basic nursing care to clients consistent with ccsg standards, policies, procedures and licensing laws; document services; maintain confidentiality; work within the team process; participate in specialized programs or clinics; develop and conduct educational counseling for individuals and families;
may serve as a program coordinator. - assess health status of individuals, groups, and populations using data collected from clients, families, medical practitioners, community service agencies, schools, and surveys to identify at-risk populations; analyze health status assessments and assist in policy development and ongoing planning to address health service needs; advocate for at-risk populations; provide nursing services to at-risk populations or those with limited access to care; mentor new staff in agency policies and public health nursing.
