Overview
The role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units as a Med Surg Registered Nurse
. Key responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, monitoring responses, documenting care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, managing multiple patients, ensuring infection control, advocating for patient needs, and facilitating discharge planning.
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred certifications: NIHSS and ACLS
- Critical thinking
- Effective communication
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties
- Capacity to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal, technical, and sensory skills
