Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
  • BLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • ACLS certification required prior to start
  • Cerner experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive on a night shift team
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
  • Monitor patient conditions, complete assessments, and respond to changes in status
  • Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
  • Document accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Support patient education, comfort, and discharge readiness
  • Maintain professional standards in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment
