Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Dothan, Alabama

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Float to other units as required by facility staffing needs

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Permanent address must be located 50 or more miles from the facility

• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting

• Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience through a 13-week travel assignment at an established healthcare facility
• ACLS pending candidates will be considered, providing flexibility for qualified nurses to secure the position ahead of their start date
