Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Dothan, Alabama

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient information and care activities within the facility's electronic medical record system
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or a compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the facility

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting

• Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience through a 13-week travel assignment in a supportive Medical Surgical environment
• Candidates with ACLS pending will be considered, providing flexibility for qualified nurses to secure the position ahead of their start date
