Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical Surgical unit. The RN will deliver patient-centered treatment while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and manage drips, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone, in accordance with protocols.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes, particularly for cardiac and MS/tele overflow cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama RN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a hospital setting, preferably in large healthcare facilities.
• Proven proficiency in managing IV drips, including cardiac medications like Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.
• Experience with orthopedic units and handling overflow cases involving MS and Tele units.
• Ability to work 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts, with willingness to accommodate block scheduling.
