American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring an Alabama or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratios up to 1:6-7
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 based on traveler preference (19:00-7:30)
• Block scheduling available

• Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Proficiency with drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone required
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Tele patients
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates with prior permanent employment at the facility within the last 10 years are not eligible
• Must reside more than 90 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates are not eligible
