Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides high-quality emergency care for patients with acute illnesses and injuries, stabilizes patients, collaborates with physicians, and ensures timely care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled nursing care to patients with emergency medical conditions
Assess, monitor, and document patient status, interventions, and progress
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care
Utilize critical thinking to respond quickly in urgent situations
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with facility protocols
Active RN license in Alabama or Compact State
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Skills:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
1 year of Emergency Department experience
