Reports to the Quality Assurance Department Lead and is responsible for performing inspections on all types of parts to ensure conformity to FAA and customer approved drawings and specifications, operating in compliance with company safety practices, and performing other duties as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities9001/AS9100 requirements.
Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree from a college or university and three to five years related training or experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer
Skills:
Ability to interact with and enter data into spreadsheet software.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team environment and self-direct work.
Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; frequently sit; walk, talk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; occasionally stand and stoop or crouch; lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentWork exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. Noise level is very loud but falls within acceptable limits of OSHA guidelines.
