Overview
Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for a Propulsion Delivery Quality Manager III to join our team based in Mobile, AL. The Propulsion Delivery Quality Manager III oversees the quality and conformity of the A220 Podded Power Plant + Pylon (PQUAD) from its induction into the Mobile FAL through final aircraft delivery. As the primary Airbus representative for airline customer inspections of the propulsion system, you will serve as the lead focal point for all PQUAD-related quality and delivery topics.
You will manage the resolution of engine and nacelle concerns by coordinating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Engineering and Delivery Transaction Managers. The role requires compliance with airworthiness requirements as set forth in Chapter 561 - Approved Manufacturers
- Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
On the “Airbus Way” you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Handle complex industrial topics from upstream production cycles impacting Airbus internal flow (e.g., production escape). Monitor on-site supplier performance to ensure operational reactivity and quality alignment.
