An owner managed property management firm is seeking a passionate and goal-oriented property manager. As a property manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational and financial aspects of the assigned property. This typically involves managing properties with ~200units and ensuring that all company goals related to the property are met. We7re looking for skilled leaders with or without previous property management experience who can take their business experience and can guide their team to ensure the community is running smoothly.

Pay is based on experience and negotiable on interview.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, tenant relations and staff members
  • Oversee hiring, training, supervising, and motivating the property staff
  • Oversee the marketing and advertising of the property which can include, Facebook marketplace posts, and checking market comps.
  • Manage the communitys revenue and expenses to ensure the budget and financial guidelines are met
  • Willingness and ability to collect rent and fees in the time they are due
  • Maintain accurate resident records, posts all rent, deposits and fees and all A/P functions
  • Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with tenants
  • Follows all policies and procedures for compliance with staff and residents
  • Complete building inspections and take appropriate action to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet standards
  • Follow up on service requests with maintenance team and ensure residents requests have been completed
  • Promote resident satisfaction by serving as a resource for residents to express their concerns and assist with resolution
  • Perform required reporting and administrative tasks with a high attention to detail
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers license is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Industry software experience
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
