About the Role

Le Moyne’s Chophouse, located at The Admiral Hotel, is looking for a skilled Line Cook 2 to join our culinary team!

This position supports daily restaurant, bar, room service, banquet, and amenity operations. You’ll work alongside our culinary leadership team to prepare and execute high-quality dishes with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards

Set up and maintain hot and cold line stations

Execute assigned meal periods, room service, banquets, and amenities

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work station

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health-code requirements

Communicate guest requests, product needs, and kitchen concerns to leadership

Assist with inventory monitoring and ordering

Support and help train new line and prep cooks

Work closely with the Chef, Sous Chef, and culinary team to ensure consistent execution

Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, recipes, and kitchen procedures

Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen culture

Follow all company safety and security policies

Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

3+ years of cooking experience in an upscale, fine-dining, or similar high-volume environment

Culinary education or equivalent professional experience preferred

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, including sautéing, grilling, broiling, poaching, steaming, boiling, and braising

Knowledge of soups, stocks, sauces, and basic protein fabrication

Strong knife skills and familiarity with professional kitchen equipment

Ability to read and follow recipes accurately

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and with minimal supervision

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to guest service, quality, cleanliness, and safety

Serv Safe Food Handler certification required prior to your first day

Luxury/upscale hospitality experience preferred

Physical & Schedule Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and work safely in a commercial kitchen

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working around heat, cold, humidity, sharp equipment, and varying temperatures

Must be available to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays

Schedule may vary based on business needs; flexibility is essential in hospitality
