Position Summary

What you’ll do and what we expect from you in this role.

• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed by the business.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality, with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assists with purchasing decisions and payment types; locates merchandise; and resolves member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner; identifies roadblocks and assists in training.
• Compliance: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices.
• Work Execution: Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress; identifies improvement opportunities; and adapts to change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
