Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, and establish retailer relationships while representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary & Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 - $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- We provide paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.

- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 16‑18 hours.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products. Use technology for communication, reporting, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on the actual holiday or weekend.
- Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks like building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting sections. Notification typically two weeks in advance; may require evenings or weekends.
- Team support: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, collaborate with other merchandisers to support team members in nearby territories.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. Must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs or step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Capability to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
