Job Summary

The Supervisor balances a passion for people and excellence in retail while encouraging and supporting their team on the floor. The Supervisor is the store point person, acting as host, mentor, brand advocate, and customer service lead to identify and provide products, services, and experiences that keep riders engaged. The Supervisor/Key Holder delivers locally authentic interactions, enhances rider satisfaction, and supports sales and profitability goals.

• Deliver world‑class rider service, ensuring ongoing sales and high levels of rider satisfaction.
• Build connections with riders, ask questions, listen to needs, and provide options and advice.
• Inspire riders to purchase, celebrate the purchase, and create a lasting positive impression.
• Assist in ensuring visual merchandising standards are met, restock as needed, and keep product presentation areas clean and organized.
• Maintain general cleanliness standards from opening through close, including light janitorial duty.
• Use company literature, resources, and training to stay current on product features.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality; support opening and closing responsibilities when the manager is absent.

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Bike shop experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience of at least 1 year, preferably in a bike shop.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with riders and team members.
• Willingness to work during weekends and flexible business hours.
• Ability to stand for extensive periods, walk, kneel, or reach as required.
• Capability to lift at least 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
