Position Summary
Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest products are available for members to take home. You will juggle multiple tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.
It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.
- Be a Team Member: collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members and be flexible to business needs.
- Be an Expert: prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; maintain and sanitize equipment; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
- Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize hand‑held technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner: maintain operational excellence, ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Be an Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and the club; model high‑quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply the Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvements; and adapt to and learn from change.
- Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
- Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed and answering any questions.
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and member‑ready area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Capable of standing for long periods while assisting members quickly and accurately.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to tackle obstacles head‑on.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. Premiums may be paid in amounts of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
