Branch Support Specialist (Inside Sales) job odore, AL.
The Branch Support Specialist is an integral part of the sales team, responding to customer inquiries and ensuring customers’ needs are met regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices & quotations, complaints, returns, shortages, adjustments, and expediting. This position works closely with our Outside Sales team in support of key customers. This position also handles all walk-in customers and their needs.
This is an entry-level position meaning no experience is required! Competitive base salary plus commission on every order!
Services incoming calls by taking and processing local orders, responding to technical questions, entering sales notes, and tracking shipments.
Responds with urgency to customer requests for quotes of both in-stock, direct ship, and specialty items.
Works with Allredi's Supply Chain team and preferred vendors to ensure that the customer receives their order on time and in full.
Promotes and maintains good customer relationships by servicing phone calls, delivering on customer needs and assisting all walk-in customers at the branch.
Works the “open orders” report and “back order” report daily to make sure customers are getting their orders in a timely manner.
Responsible for the RMA (returns) processing at the branch.
Assist the warehouse as needed with pulling/receiving orders and/or unloading/loading trucks.
Conducts specialty projects and performs other related duties as assigned by management, or to fulfill the “Primary Function” of the job.
2+ years working for an industrial distributor selling safety products strongly preferred.
Must have solid computer skills including strong MS Excel background.
Must possess the ability to work independently but function as a strong member of a team.
Must have excellent problem‑solving skills, be detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to multi‑task and work on many different projects at one time.
Completion of High School degree required.
Work hours are a typical first shift, 8 AM-5 PM schedule Monday-Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work when customer needs demand it.
