Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms and emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Must have or be able to obtain a Valid ASRB License.
• Valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns; monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials; monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity.
• Incident Response & Reporting: Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol; maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents; perform routine security tasks such as locking/unlocking doors.
• Customer Service & Policy Enforcement: Assist visitors and employees professionally; enforce site-specific post orders and security protocols; ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).

• Minimum: Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments; weekend availability; strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills; ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations; basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Stand or sit for at least 1 hour without break.
• Walk a minimum of 0.5 mile without stopping.
• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping.

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1+ year verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience; 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience.

• Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred.
• Able to obtain any and all security certifications/licenses.
• State-issued Driver's License (not expired).
