- Starting wage is $20 - $25 dollars per hour, dependant on experience.
The Gas Pipe Assistantisresponsiblefortheassistinginthecodecompliantinstallationofgassystemson Commercialnewconstructionsites .
- Assistwithinstallationofgassystemsusingcopper,steel,andflexiblepipingincompliancewithcodes.
- Readandinterpretblueprintsorlayoutbasicdesignsasneeded.
- Helpcutandcoreopeningsforpipingusinghandandpowertools.
- Supporttestingofsystemstoensureleak-freeandcode-compliant installations.
- Assistincalculating
BTUloadsandsizingpipelayouts. - Helpinstallpiping,fittings,valves,regulators,andgasappliances.
- Valid Driver’sLicense
- High School Diplomaor Equivalent
