Compensation: $50,680.00 – $68,169.00 per year (commonly for this role).
Summary of DutiesThe Traffic Signal Technician provides supervision and assistance for the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic control signs and associated components. Tasks are carried out on construction sites, maintenance facilities, and outdoor environments. Responsibilities include conducting repairs and maintenance on traffic signs and control systems and assisting with the installation, repair, and replacement of signs and traffic signals using heavy machinery.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or Traffic Controller
- Experience with Workzone Traffic Signals, Riggers & Signal, and Roadway Lighting
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Valid Driver’s License with active liability insurance
- Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
