Asa Commercial Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter ,youwilloverseecommercialconstructionjobsites,working hands-onwithallaspectsofinstallation.

Youwillmanagelargercrews,assign tasks,setgoals,andassistinthetraininganddevelopmentofapprenticesandotherteammembers.

Additionally,youwillsupportjobsitehousekeepingtomaintainasafeandorganizedworkenvironment.

• Hourly wage is set between $50.00 and $60.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

• Organizematerialsandmaintainjobsitestoensureasafeandefficientworkenvironment.

  Fire Protection Systems .
• Prepareandlayoutmaterialsandequipmentbasedonfireprotectionfabricationdrawings.
• Perform cutting,fitting,andpipingconnectionsincompliancewithindustrystandardsandcode.
• Layoutandmarkpipeinstallations,passage holes,andsprinklerheadpositionsforthecrew.
• Readandinterpretfireprotection,architectural,andstructuralplansandspecifications.
• Leadjobsites,assign tasks,andensureefficientcoordinationofcrewsandmaterialstomeetprojecttimelines.
• Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.

• Possible overtime based on project needs
• Year-Round Work

• Valid Journeyman Fitter License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a sprinkler fitter
• Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems and relevant codes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Lift above 50lbs regularly
• Walking, Lifting, Twisting, Climbing Ladders, and other physical requirements consistently for 90% of your day
