Lead Service Technician

Pay Rate: $28.00–$35.00 per hour (subject to change).

The Service Technician II maintains, services, and repairs commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration units, including grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach‑in and walk‑in coolers, and freezers.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• Communicate status updates for part orders and repairs with branch support and customers.
• Complete service calls accurately and on time.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Whaley safety standards.
• Meet on‑call requirements.

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration.
• Minimum age 18.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• Ability to work independently.
• Accurate diagnosis and troubleshooting of automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical systems.
• Journeyman license or CFESA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.
