Job Description & How to Apply Below

Overview

Welcome to WOW! We are happy to have you apply!

  • Location 2550 Jackson Ferry Road, Montgomery, AL, 36110, United States
  • Employee Type FT
Description

Quick overview—here’s the gist: We’re looking for someone who likes to stay busy, solve problems, and jump in wherever needed. This is a hands-on, do-it-all (jack-of-all-trades) role where no two days look the same. One minute you might be fixing something in the yard, the next you’re organizing inventory or helping with tasks in the office. If you’re the type who’s just as comfortable turning a wrench as you are staying organized and keeping things moving behind the scenes, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

This role supports day-to-day operations across the yard, shop, and office. You’ll:

  • Jump in on basic repairs
  • Handle light fabrication work like welding, cutting, and metal work
  • Tackle general facility upkeep—carpentry, drywall, painting, and small fixes
  • Pick up parts, run errands, and help keep projects moving
  • Organize and maintain inventory, storage areas, and equipment
  • Assist with minor service and maintenance on company vehicles
  • Help assemble equipment as needed
  • Pitch in wherever the team needs support—inside or outside
What we’re looking for

We’re less focused on titles and more focused on mindset. The ideal person:

  • Is a problem-solver who takes ownership and figures things out
  • Has a “see it, fix it” mentality
  • Can shift quickly between tasks and priorities
  • Is comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather
  • Can also handle light administrative or organizational tasks indoors
  • Communicates clearly and follows through
Skills that will set you up for success
  • Experience with welding, torch cutting, or fabrication (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or general repairs
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
  • Ability to operate or learn equipment like forklifts or lifts
  • Ability to move trailers (tractor experience is a plus)
  • Strong organization skills for managing parts and inventory
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • CDL is a plus, but not required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
Why this role works for the right person
  • Variety—no repetitive day-to-day work
  • Hands-on + thinking work (you’ll use both)
  • Opportunity to learn across multiple skill sets
  • Be part of a team that depends on you to keep things running

If you’re the kind of person who likes to stay moving, figure things out, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, this could be a great fit- apply now!
