Feed Mill Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Sanderson Farms -  - Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, conveyor, pump, steam and electrical systems using blueprints and schematic drawings to ensure equipment is performing safely to required specifications;
Identify root cause of more complex/difficult mechanical and electrical issues and repairs using welding, fabrication, basic pipe fitting and electrical/process control knowledge;
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled;
Search for and present ideas for permanent fix for reoccurring mechanical or electrical problems;
Train entry level employees as needed
