Maintenance Technician

• Every 3rd weekend rotation
• No on‑call requirement

Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Assists with complex and non‑routine maintenance tasks.

• Perform repairs according to work orders or verbal instructions and compile proper documentation following established policies and procedures.
• Identify and request parts and components needed to complete tasks.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs including changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts, and installing light fixtures.
• Perform basic carpentry and assist with minor construction projects including installation and repair of drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile, cabinetry, countertops, shelving, and painting.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including debris/trash removal, heavy lifting/moving of materials and equipment, floor‑sweeping, and material storage.
• Enter work orders, document tasks, and close work orders in the electronic record‑keeping system.
• Research products and solutions to problems.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• One year of experience.

• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
• Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
• Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Rare use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
• Rare driving.
