As a Service Technician I, you'll help customers stay productive by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment. Every repair you complete and every inspection you perform helps create safer workplaces and stronger customer partnerships.
What You'll Do- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drive trains, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
- Complete equipment inspections, rebuild major components as needed, perform basic welding, and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and Briggs quality standards.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, manage parts and supply, and keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Put safety first by following OSHA, DOT, and company safety practices while participating in ongoing technical training and certifications.
- High school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of experience repairing forklifts or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Valid driver's license; technical or trade school training and Hyster-Yale certifications are a plus.
