Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift - Specialty

• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to all production/facility equipment to insure that adequate machinery is available for day and night operations.
• Review equipment reports submitted by associates, record actions/repairs taken, and maintain a repair log per policy.
• Complete documentation for equipment related activities (assembly forms, disassembly forms, etc.).
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment, and maintain PM log with proper documentation.
• Comply with safety guidelines including lock out/tag out, placarding and required documentation.
• Maintain and secure the battery-charging area, batteries and related equipment.
• Manage company tools, replacement parts and maintenance equipment, including inventory, storage, and security of tool area.

• Education/Training:
  High School education or equivalent preferred; mechanic training or trade school degree preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum six months previous mechanic experience required.
• Knowledge/
  
  Skills:
  
  Equipment repair and operation; welding ability; ability to read and write legibly; basic math; ability to work with little supervision.
