Experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician

$24-$35/Hour + Performance Bonuses | Take-Home Company Vehicle | Ozark, AL

Hagler Heating and Cooling is looking for a Residential HVAC Service Technician who can diagnose equipment accurately, make quality repairs, and provide homeowners with professional service from start to finish.

With more than 25 years serving the Ozark area, we've built our reputation on dependable work, honest recommendations, and taking care of our customers. We're looking for a technician who wants to build a long-term career with a company that provides the tools, training, and support to succeed.

What You'll Do

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll handle service calls throughout the local area and help homeowners keep their heating and cooling systems operating safely and efficiently.

  • Diagnose residential HVAC systems and identify equipment issues
  • Complete repairs and system maintenance
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related problems
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Explain system conditions and repair options to homeowners
  • Make recommendations based on the actual needs of the equipment
  • Document completed work and service findings accurately
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and service vehicle
  • Follow company safety and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing technical training
What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of residential HVAC service experience or comparable technical training
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Completion of an HVAC certificate is preferred, but not required
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Comfortable communicating technical information with homeowners
  • Reliable, professional approach to customer service
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and continued learning
