The Loader Operator is responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. This role maintains documentation of vehicle movement around the facility, conducts daily pre- and post-trip inspections and documentation for the assigned machine, and follows company guidelines for safe loader operation. The Loader Operator will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs and ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.

Takes part in maintaining a safe work environment and provides service to customers as needed. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor and adheres to yard guidelines to support a safe working environment.

• Move and load vehicles using the appropriate company equipment (front-end loader or forklift).
• Maintain documentation of vehicle movement and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections with related records.
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.
• Assist with maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
• Record vehicle information accurately and legibly; operate digital cameras or other documentation/tracking devices as needed.
• Set up the yard for auctions within company timelines.
• Provide service to customers as needed and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Follow yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (e.g., speed limits).
• Load and unload vehicles as required and complete any other duties as assigned.

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of work experience, preferably outdoors.
• One year of loader or forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and high integrity.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Occasional overtime as needed.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Pay: $21.05 - $23.71 per hour.
