Position Overview

CDL B Driver (Local)

Location:

Dothan, AL – Retail shop

• Consistent routine:
  Monday-Thursday 6:00–7:30am start time with occasional Friday, Saturday, Sunday work to help our team and customers
• Enjoy a stable schedule averaging 40 hours per week
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders, Dewars and supplies
• Nurture courteous and professional relationships with customers
• Support deliveries in a timely manner
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart – physically active and hands‑on nature of this position
• Drivers frequently move in and out of the vehicle

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
• Hazmat endorsement required; candidates without HAZMAT will not be considered
• Maintain appropriate driver’s licence, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last three years (with specified combinations)
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months

• Forklift experience
