This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity to
  • Unload and move incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas as assigned. On occasion requires physical demand
  • Verify the product numbers and quantities with packing slips – prepare receiving records – record and report discrepancies
  • Accurately pull finished product from designated storage areas in accordance with pick tickets (customer orders) and package
  • Prepare for shipment, using various shipping systems, to customer and all relevant documentation needs. Record and report discrepancies. Provide signature and product quantities on pick tickets for verification of activity. Perform self-checks on pick tickets to ensure accuracy of product pulled – when time permits – perform audits on co-worker picks to assist in maintaining department accuracy of customer orders.
  • Perform cycle counts of raw materials, components, and finished product as directed
  • Use computer, printers, copier machine, scanners, scales, stretch wrap machine, calculator, tape dispenser, hand truck, and forklift in the performance of duties
  • Assist in keeping all warehouse areas clean, neat, and free from safety hazards
    • Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, etc
    • Emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
    • Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures
    • Assist in cleaning rooms
    • Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
    • Sweep, and clean restrooms
    • Loading/unloading dishwashers, cleaning counter tops, cleaning coffee and tea equipment, cleaning up caterings, cleaning conference rooms.
    • Mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows
    • Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
    • Mopping, scrubbing floors, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets
    • Removing trash and sanitizing trash containers
    • Performing Housekeeping duties to include vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, dust mopping and wet mopping floors, furniture dusting, cleaning and replenishing restrooms supplies.
    • Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
    • Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
    • Maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors.
    • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Perform all duties in a manner compliant to established Aspen Surgical safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Must be able to identify and report damages or possible damages to our product caused by handling and storage.
  • Must be able to follow procedures, best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior.
  • Perform different job functions within the organizations warehouse department.
What You Need to Succeed in This Position
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent for this position or more than one year of experience performing a similar position.
  • Have knowledge of office packaging (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
