Certified School Bus Driver ​/ Maintenance Head

Role: School Bus Driver responsible for transporting students and passengers safely and efficiently to school and related events.

• Operate school buses, conduct pre-trip safety inspections, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Transport students, teachers, and parents, ensuring proper drop-offs and pick-ups, and verifying student guardianship.
• Explain emergency procedures, maintain order and discipline onboard, and secure passengers, including those in wheelchairs.
• Maintain route logs, update maps, and report maintenance issues to the designated supervisor.
• Communicate with school staff, monitor safety systems, and assist during vehicle repairs and yard upkeep.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years driving experience.
• Arizona Class B Driver's License with relevant endorsements and School Bus Certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, background check, drug screening, and medical clearance required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred, with strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.

Additional Requirements: Ability to operate vehicles with foot controls, use two-way communication, and work cooperatively with staff and the community.
