Position: Fall 2026 Engineering Co-op Assignment

PCC Airfoils, LLC, headquartered in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the fast-paced, high‑tech industry of investment casting. Each of the thirteen (13) Airfoils’ locations plays an integral part in the manufacture of blades, vanes and components for use in gas turbine engines. SUMMARY

The co‑op student will work on job assignments related to their education. These increasingly challenging assignments will provide a solid learning experience and a sound intellectual and/or financial return for the PCC organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The student will apply principles learned in school to aid PCC in analysis, product improvement, and use project‑management techniques to plan and control projects.
  • The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility throughout the co‑op experience.
  • Student will attend weekly departmental meetings.
  • Will take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
  • Participate on project teams for assigned projects; analyze improvements and new products or applications and develop requirements and specifications with the team.
  • Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product‑line extensions, and product enhancements.
  • The student will learn metallurgical analysis techniques and use them to solve process problems.
  • The student will also learn super‑alloy chemistry and conduct analysis to understand relationships between chemistry and casting quality.
  • Other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Good writing and interpersonal skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Full‑time student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in aerospace, metallurgical, material science, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
