Hatchery – Embrex Laborer

• Wash floats: remove hatcher trays, over‑turn the float to remove debris, rinse with high‑pressure hose.
• Transport hatcher trays.
• Sanitize separator using a foaming system with sodium hypochlorite, rinse with high‑pressure hose.
• Sanitize hatcher: remove fans, sweep floor, foaming with sodium hypochlorite, rinse.
• Set eggs: lift 10‑pound egg trays, place them into stacked buggies from floor level to shoulder level.
• Transfer eggs: push buggies on casters to the vaccination table, place each tray, roll back onto buggy, rotate to hatcher.
• Load chicks onto belt: remove chick trays from buggy, place tray onto conveyor.

Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Dexterity may require pinch grip, back or shoulder extension/flexion, and may include shoulder extension/flexion.

Hearing protection in posted areas, slip‑resistant shoes in all areas, steel‑toe shoes during set and transfer, cotton gloves optional.

1–2 weeks.

Conditions are wet and humid during sanitation. Team members spend approximately 2 hours per shift in incubators, which can reach 99°F and may be dusty when chicks are in production.
