Scale House Operator Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Weigh live haul trailers loaded and unloaded
- Fill out scale tickets with information from the catcher load sheet
- Write all information on long sheet
- Copy all information from long sheet to office sheet
- Weigh RVI trailers
- Make sure PVP/NON PVP signs are on the trailers
- Figure head counts for each trailer/farm when finished with the house for that farm
- Figure yard time and write it on the long sheet
- Figure DOA’s and weight at the end of the shifts
- Keep track of USDA PVP sheet
- Maintain housekeeping
- Must have good organizing, time management, and computer skills. Work effectively individually as well as in a team structured environment
- Use MTECH system on computer
- Maintain communication with all involved personnel (Plant and live haul)
- Schedule:
Monday-Friday with some weekend work required; - Benefits:

- Base hourly salary rate of $18.55 with a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift;
- Perfect attendance incentive of $1.00 extra per hour for perfect attendance;
