• The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant treats both physical and mental conditions through comprehensive history taking, physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Mid-level can then diagnose the disease and then provide appropriate treatment for the patient.

• Education
  • Registered Professional Nurse License and Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program or Graduate of PA Program.
• Licensure
  • American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification or PA license.
  • Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing or PA license in good standing with the Medical Board.
  • CPR certification/ACLS and PALS as required for speciality.
  • Up to date CME's.
• Experience
  • Prefer experience within a physician office.
• Interpersonal skills.

    Exert up to 10 lb. of force occasionally and/or a minute amount frequently - greater than 75%.

  • A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who has acquired the expert knowledge base, complex decision‑making skills and clinical competencies for expanded practice, the characteristics of which would be determined by the context in which s/he is credentialed to practice.
