Retail Associate – Cashier

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers - Douglas, GA

Part‑time

The Douglas retail store, located at 1300 S Madison, Douglas, GA, is currently looking for a hard‑working and dedicated Retail Associate – Cashier. A part‑time position averages 20‑25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs. The Retail Associate – Cashier must be available to work any shift Monday through Sunday.

• Ensures that each guest receives outstanding customer service.
• Assists customers with purchases and pricing.
• Operates the cash register system and applies basic math skills including, but not limited to, basic addition and subtraction of money.
• Understands item pricing and “color of the week”.
• Maintains the sales floor and dressing room appearance by organizing shelves, putting away carts, returning merchandise from the dressing room back to the sales floor.
• Asks customers to “Round‑Up” totals in support of our mission and/or scholarship programs.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

• Basic math skills.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service‑related environment, is preferred.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), is preferred.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.

• Starting pay rate of $13.00 per hour.
