The Infusion Nurse delivers safe and effective infusion therapies in the hospital setting, including the administration of medications, fluids, and blood products. This role is responsible for clinical assessment, IV access, patient monitoring, and education, while ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards. The nurse supports patient comfort, safety, and positive experience throughout the infusion process.

Pharmacy Director
Classification:
Non-Exempt
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) required
- Current RN license in Wyoming
- BLS and ACLS certification required;
Chemotherapy certification may be required for oncology infusions - Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably with IV therapy or infusion services
- Demonstrates proficiency with IV access, infusion pumps, medication safety, and patient assessment
Category I exposure to blood borne pathogens

- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, converse, and listen; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or carry over 30 pounds on a regular basis and be able to push/pull over 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.
- Regular use of hands and fine motor skills for IV placement, infusion pump operation, and charting.
