The Supply Chain Engineer will play a critical role in strengthening end-to-end supply chain efficiency. This position focuses on analyzing current operations, implementing optimized logistics strategies, and leveraging data and technology to reduce costs, elevate productivity, and streamline material flow.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize Supply Chain Processes: Evaluate existing supply chain workflows and identify opportunities to improve productivity and minimize operational expenses.
- Develop Logistics Strategies: Create and execute logistics plans covering transportation, warehousing, material flow, and inventory management.
- Data Driven Decision Making: Use analytical tools to interpret trends, forecast demand, and guide logistics and supply chain improvements.
- Cross Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams—including supply chain, logistics, and leadership—to coordinate seamless operational integration. - Cost Benefit Analysis: Assess various logistics solutions to determine the most economical and efficient methods for moving and storing goods.
- Technology Integration: Implement and support logistics technologies, including inventory tracking systems, shipping tools, and process automation solutions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate documentation related to logistics activities, transportation processes, and operational performance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- Analytical Strength: Ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative, practical solutions.
- Technical Know How: Knowledge of logistics software, supply chain tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong Communication: Clear written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Detail Oriented: Commitment to accuracy and precision in reporting, documentation, and operational oversight.
