Legacy Senior Living - 8847 Hospital Drive - Responsibilities:
Administer medications following the six rights of medication administration (right resident, right drug, right dosage, right time, right route, right record) at all times;
Double- and triple-check the six rights at key points (when removing medication, immediately before administration, immediately after administration);
Assist with or administer medications per the Medication Administration Record (MAR) with accuracy and policy adherence;
Document all medication actions clearly, including doses given, refused, held, or discontinued;
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked medication cart or cabinet;
Provide treatments and care as outlined in each resident’s individual service plan;
Report any medication errors, questions, or concerns to the Wellness Nurse or supervisor;
Observe residents for adverse reactions and report concerns promptly;
Follow infection control procedures and dispose of waste per OSHA and residence policy;
Support dining, housekeeping, and personal care as needed to ensure a comfortable environment;
Attend required meetings, trainings, and continuing education; communicate updates promptly to the Wellness Nurse and team
